This island is the only place on the planet where the Golden Lancehead Viper snake is found. With venom so strong that it can melt human flesh, this snake makes people’s spines chill just thinking about it. Due to the level of danger on the island, the Brazilian government has banned tourists from coming here.
Danakil Desert, East Africa
Stretching across northeastern Ethiopia, southern Eritrea and northwestern Djibouti is East Africa’s Danakil Desert. Known for its volcanoes and geysers that release toxic gases and unbearable heat, it is one of the most dangerous places in the world. Daytime temperatures often exceed 50°C, making this place unsuitable for living.
Oymyakon, Russia
Located in the heart of Siberia is the Russian village of Oymyakon, which has extremely low temperatures and is one of the coldest places in the world. The lowest temperature recorded here is -71.2°C. Only about 500 people live in the village with harsh weather conditions. Cell phones don’t work in such cold climates and hardly any crops grow.

Located near the border of Nevada and California, Death Valley has extremely harsh temperatures. Summer here is as hot as 56.7°C. Winter in this area has dangerously low temperatures, threatening the lives of humans and animals. Additionally, storms in the mountains surrounding Death Valley can easily cause sudden flooding
